AuroGene™ software is operating the high performance flatbed scanner
and acquiring low-noise analytical quality array images. The software has
a set of utilities for controlling scanner operation, processing multiple slides
in automatic mode using user-defined settings for each slide. It also provides
tools for image enhancement and quantitation of microarray spots. For each array spot
thirteen parameters are measured, including spot’s peak and integral intensity,
local background, spot size, shape, and alignment of the spot on a
microarray grid. These data are used to flag-out outlier spots for higher accuracy of
microarry measurements.
