Dear Researcher, Sci-Tec, Inc. is looking
for candidates for participation in our expanding NIH-funded research
projects. Two research positions are available as of December 2007: Research Scientist (PhD) Research Assistant (MS/BS) Training in molecular biology and biochemistry is required. Experience and skills related to: DNA/RNA/microRNA extraction, processing, amplification and detection techniques; microarray analysis and real time PCR; protein expression systems, protein isolation and analysis; assay development; enzyme kinetics and mechanisms of enzymatic reactions are desirable. Experience with nanomaterials, surface modification chemistry, and bioinformatics are a plus. Sci-Tec, Inc. is located in Knoxville, TN. Ongoing research projects are conducted in collaboration with Oak Ridge National Laboratory (Oak Ridge, TN) and University of Tennessee (Knoxville, TN).
