AuroGene™ is a new microarray platform that performs gene
expression analysis without
reverse transcription and chemical modification of the target mRNA. The AuroGene™ detection approach is based on precipitation of
nanoparticles on the hybridized array spots due to the electrostatic attraction of the cationic
nanoparticles and the anionic phosphate groups in the target DNA/RNA backbone.
